Welcome to Tracy Allen Counselling

Psychotherapy, Counselling & Clinical Supervision in Glasgow West End and Online Across the UK

Hi – I'm Tracy, a Psychotherapist

I offer warm, safe counselling and psychotherapy for adults. I work in a neuro- and LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, and person-centred way, grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Alongside my PGDip in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I have completed additional training in neurodivergence and related areas, including trauma and equality. I have nearly a decade of experience supporting neurodivergent people across a range of settings, including secondary education and private practice.

I am a BACP registered therapist, working in accordance with its ethical framework.

Feeling Seen, Heard and Understood

As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand how important it can be to feel seen, heard, and understood –without having to constantly explain yourself.

Many of my clients have experienced trauma, including domestic abuse or difficult childhoods, and may feel anxious, overstimulated, isolated, or stuck in cycles of shutdown or overwhelm. Relationships can be difficult to navigate, and finding the right words to express how you feel is not always straightforward.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. I will meet you where you are, without pressure or judgment.

How I Work

Counselling with me is collaborative and shaped around you – your needs, your strengths, and what matters to you.

I am not a directive therapist, but I will work alongside you in exploring what is going on and, where helpful, consider possible ways forward – at a pace that feels manageable.

I work in a trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming way, which means I pay attention to safety, choice, and each person’s individual way of thinking, feeling, and communicating.

How Therapy Can Help

Therapy can offer a space to reflect, process experiences, and make sense of what you are going through.

For some, this may involve working through anxiety, depression, or trauma. For others, it may be about understanding patterns, developing self-awareness, or creating space to pause and think.

Working With Me

I offer counselling and psychotherapy for adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

I also offer clinical supervision for qualified counsellors and counselling trainees who are looking for a reflective and collaborative space to think about their work.
